Historic WWI era coins! This set consists of 1, 2, and 3 Kopek coins struck by Germany and issued for use in the occupied areas of Russia during World War I. This would have included Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia. The coins were struck in iron with a likeness of the Iron Cross containing the value and date on one side. The other side has the statement in German which roughly translates "For use in occupied areas of the East"
The coins come sealed in their own protective capsules, and are housed in a handsome wood display box with Certificate of Authenticity. Makes a great gift for the coin collector or history buff. KM#21, 22, & 23.
