This Ultra High Relief 1 oz .9999-fine Proof Silver coin from the Royal Canadian Mint is a true rarity! The obverse is a faithful reproduction of a wooden moon mask created in the mid-2000s by renowned Aboriginal artist Richard Cochrane. It recreates the wood grain of the old-growth Red Cedar used to carve the mask, preserves the two dark growth lines and the protective ring of eight New Zealand abalone shells. The reverse also features the word “CANADA,” the date “2013” and the face value of “25 DOLLARS.” Comes to you in the original box of issue with a numbered certificate of authenticity.

Comments about 2013 1 oz Silver Canadian $25 Grandmother Moon Mask UHR:
Unique beauty, with its emphasis on Canada's Native American culture and its low mintage from one of the most highly regarded mints in the world made this a must have for me, so I purchased 2. The ascetics of the coin are worth the price alone to me, its collect ability is just a bonus. It's a stunning coin and a personal favorite of mine. What better metal to represent the moon than silver.
