Gold from Roman Gaul--over 2,000 years old!
This was a coin that was used in the area of Europe that is now modern day France, Belgium, Luxembourg, and western Switzerland & Germany. These gold staters were struck sometime during the 1st century BC.
Coin is approx. 16mm X 6.0-6.3g. Obverse: Plain. Reverse: Large dis-jointed horse.

These coins have been certified Choice Very Fine by NGC, with strike and surface ratings of 4/5 and 3/5 respectively.
