Interesting Note! Here is a series 1934 $500 FRN from the Dallas district (SN#K00015021A) that has been personalized. It has writing in ink on both sides from a couple pledging their love to each other in 1949. They were obviously well-to-do since $500 in 1949 would be worth over $4,800 today! It also has a small rust spot just to the right of the portrait. The note is dark, but the paper has the body of a Very Fine example. It also has the desirable light green seal, and is from a tougher district (only 31,200 notes printed!). Priced right. Friedberg # 2201-K.
