This coin was issued to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Antietam. This battle was called the bloodiest single day in American history. The obverse depicts both Generals McClellan and Lee who opposed each other on that fateful day. The Burnside Bridge, where so many soldiers died, is depicted on the reverse. Frosty white obverse with a very lightly toned reverse. PCGS AU-53 graded.
