The Royal Canadian Mint engravers faithfully reproduced the illustration Bataille de Chateauguay by celebrated Canadian artist Henri Julien as the reverse image of this coin. This coin is certified to be 99.99% fine silver with a diameter of 102.1 millimetres and a metal weight of 32.15 ozs. An unparalleled coin commemorating a defining battle in the War of 1812. The obverse features the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt. Coin is encapsulated and presented in a custom maple wood box lined with flock and protected by a black sleeve.
