Gold 8 Escudos from Chile!Struck at the Santiago Mint in Chile, the Gold content of this Spanish colonial issue is .7841 oz. A bust of King Charles IV appears on the obverse while the crowned royal arms appear on the reverse.

This is a nice well preserved example with original surfaces, and no distractions. This coin is graded AU-58 by NGC. It is a tough date with an original mintage of just 54,000!. KM#54.
