This Liberty Seated Dollar has been authenticated and graded as being in Mint State-62 condition by PCGS with only 36 graded higher.
Only 62,600 coins were struck at the Philadelphia Mint in 1849.

The Liberty Seated Dollar, designed by Christian Gobrecht, was minted from 1840 to 1873. Seated Liberty Silver Dollars were primarily minted in Philadelphia, although there are 12 different branch mint issues. In its 33 year run, less than 7 million Liberty Seated Dollars were struck.
