Graded SP-70 by PCGS, the 2013-P 5 oz Silver Perry's Victory Coin is the 17th released coin in the America the Beautiful Silver Coin Program. Each First Strike coin is personally hand signed by John Mercanti, the 12th Chief Engraver of the U.S. Mint.
Perry’s Victory and International Peace Park honors and celebrates the Battle of Lake Erie and the peace between the U.S., Canada, and Great Britain. It was established in 1936 in Put-in-Bay, Ohio. The memorial features a 352 foot Doric column, one of the tallest monuments in the United States. Nearly 200,000 people visit this park every year. As with all U.S. Silver ATB coins, the Perry’s Victory coin contains 5 oz of .999 Silver. As a special collector's edition, each coin features a matte finish with the Philadelphia "P" mintmark, which makes it easily distinguishable from the bullion version.
