The 3rd ATB coin to be released in 2013, each First Strike 2013 5 oz Silver ATB - Great Basin coin comes signed by John Mercanti, the 12th Chief Engraver of the United States Mint and has been graded SP-70 by PCGS.
The Great Basin National Park is home to fascinating geology, water systems and diverse plant and animal species. The Great Basin, primarily located in Nevada, covers an area of more than 180,000 square miles with elevations as high as 14,500 feet. The Great Basin is known for its unique geology and ecology, but the most commonly known feature is its hydrology. The area is completely self contained, which means that any precipitation within the region either drains into rivers or lakes, but does not find its way to the Pacific Ocean or the Gulf of Mexico.
The 2013 5 oz Silver ATB - Great Basin coin is the special collector's edition and features a matte finish with a Philadelphia "P" mintmark, which makes it easily distinguishable from the bullion version.
