Roman Gold coin from the reign of Vespasian!
This Gold Aureus was struck during the reign of the Emperor Vespasian (A.D. 69 - 79). The coin's approximate specifications are 17mm, 7.2g. The obverse shows a laureate bust of the emperor facing right with the words IMPCAESARVESPASIANVSAVG. The reverse shows the inscription COSIIIFORTRED with Fortuna standing left, holding globe and caduceus.

This coin was struck in Rome almost 2,000 years ago! Graded Choice Very Fine by NGC with strike and surface ratings of 4/5 & 2/5 respectively. A rare and desirable Gold coin of the Roman Empire!
