This sovereign of Edward VII contains .2354 oz of Gold. Issued for just a few short years, this sovereign depicts the classic rendition of St. George slaying a dragon on the reverse. This is the last dated sovereign to carry a likeness of Edward, as he died in May of 1910. As such, this coin is not an easy one to find. Just below the back hoof of the horse is the "C" mint mark used for sovereigns struck in Canada.
