The Coin:
This 1 oz coin, struck in .9999 fine Gold, is crafted by The Holy Land Mint and has a face value of 20 New Sheqalim. The obverse illustrates the Shrine, where many rare and ancient manuscripts are showcased and preserved, including the well known Dead Sea Scrolls. The reverse depicts the famous Roaring Lion, which appeared on a 2,800-year-old ancient seal discovered in archeological excavations at Tel Megiddo in the Jordan Valley in 1904. Soon after its discovery, this seal mysteriously disappeared in Constantinople. The lion is the symbol of the tribe of Judah and of Jerusalem. This legal tender coin, issued by the Bank of Israel, comes in a protective plastic case from the grading service. Beautiful coin, price will soon double

By  Bob

from Kansas City

The reason I love to collect these coins so much is because they all have different images on the obverse, and the same beautifully image of the " Lion of Judah" on the back, they are 999.9 fine gold and they will most certainly hold their resale value, most likely doubling in price when sold out at the mint. They will become enduring objects of acquisition for all collectors and lovers of Israel. I only wish I had more money to buy them all.
