Product Description

$1 Silver Certificates--Series of our choice (1957 through 1957-B).
These notes are sold in lots of 10 to a sleeve--buy 5 lots or more and save $$$! These Silver Certificates are from a bygone era when you could exchange these for silver coins. They circulated well into the 1960's as the $1 denomination was not introduced in its current form (FRN) until 1963. Although they are still legal tender, the government stopped redeeming these notes for silver on June 24th, 1968. The notes in this listing will be average circulated ranging from Very Good to Very Fine condition. If you've got a large function, these would make great gift ideas. Put them on the table and watch the amazement on everyone's face!

APMEX stands behind every product it sells with a satisfaction guarantee.
