They circulated well into the 1960's as the $1 denomination was not introduced in its current form (FRN) until 1963. Although they are still legal tender, the government stopped redeeming these notes for silver on June 24th, 1968. The notes in this listing will be average circulated ranging from Very Good to Very Fine condition. If you've got a large function, these would make great gift ideas.
