The 10th anniversary of the death of Dr. Chaim Weizmann is celebrated with this issue. A portrait of Dr. Weizmann appears on the reverse of this coin along with the inscription "Chaim Weizmann" on the bottom left rim followed by the state emblem. The Israeli national arms appear on the obverse, with the inscription "One Hundred Israeli Lirot" and the anniversary years "1952-1962" in Hebrew and English appear around the rim. The word "Israel" is in Hebrew, English, and Arabic below the menorah. Listed in Krause as KM#41.
