Product Description

All of the details on this coin are sharp! Unfortunately, the rims have been filed..
This Liberty Seated Dollar has been authenticated and graded as having Extra Fine details/filed rims by PCGS.

The Liberty Seated Dollar, designed by Christian Gobrecht, was minted from 1840 to 1873. In 1872, only 3,150 Carson City mint Liberty Seated Dollars were struck, making it a very tough coin to locate. Seated Liberty Silver Dollars were primarily minted in Philadelphia, although there are 12 different branch mint issues. In its 33 year run, less than 7 million Liberty Seated Dollars were struck. This Silver Dollar includes the motto "In God We Trust" used on Liberty Seated Dollars dating from 1866.
