Mintage of only 10,000!
The reverse is a reproduction of a coin buried for hundreds of years under the ocean off the coast of Cape Breton. An entire annual budget of coins was lost when Le Chameau slammed into the coast of Cape Breton in 1725. In 1965, the gold coins were found in near perfect condition. The coin comes encapsulated and presented in a Royal Canadian Mint maroon display case with an insert which houses the coin. Protected by a black sleeve. Accompanied by a serialized certificate, your proof of ownership for this coin and evidence that your coin has been individually inspected by Royal Canadian Mint quality assurance specialists.
