The Series 1886 $1.00 Silver Certificate was the 1st Silver Certificate issued by the federal government. It is popular with collectors due to its attractive design. The obverse depicts a portrait of Martha Washington at left, with a large red Treasury seal at right. Ornately engraved reverse. Friedberg #217. Signatures of Rosecrans and Hyatt. This note grades Very Good. A good type note for your large size collection!
