CAPPADOCIA. Silver Drachm of King Ariarathes VI, who reigned from 130 - 112 or 110 BC.
The Kingdom of Cappadocia was located in what is now modern day Turkey. It thrived as a kingdom from the 4th century BC until 17 AD when it became a Roman province under Emperor Tiberius. Its location in central Turkey is comprised of much mountainous terrain and interesting rock formations. Obverse: Bust of King.
Reverse: Athena standing.
