Mintage of 50,000 sets worldwide!
Canadian artist Trevor Tennant's depiction of a large Ferruginous Hawk in flight dominates the reverse image on the one-dollar coin included in the 2014 Specimen Set of Canadian coins. As with all Canadian "loonies," this coin features an 11-sided shape and raised edging. The obverse features the effigy of Her Majesty Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt. This set includes the 2 dollar, 1 dollar, 50 cents, 25 cents, 10 cents and 5 cents. The elegant book-style packaging, with removable lens, splendidly complements these fine coins.
