Made during what is defined as the 'Renaissance of American Coinage', this coin has a nice look with minimal wear and no distractions. Low mintage of only 52,500 coins! This is the scarcest issue from the Denver mint. A tiny bit of blending on the eagle's breast feathers and wingtips are the only signs of wear on this otherwise sharp and minimally marked twenty. Just 52,500 pieces of this desirable Denver date were struck. Nearly full mint luster remains over the attractive, medium-gold surfaces. Fewer marks exist than on many technically Mint State coins, making this near-Mint example at home in any Uncirculated set.
