1786 5 Shillings Rhode Island Currency May 1786 Fine

1786 5 Shillings Rhode Island Currency May 1786 Fine

WOW! A great piece of history in this Colonial Currency note from the State of Rhode Island from the May 1786 sessions. Printed by Southwick and Barber. The denomination is Five Shillings. This note has seen definite circulation, but still retains Fine plus details with legible printing, and intact edges. A nice example of paper currency printed just before the Federal Government was formed under the Constitution. A nice example of pre-Federal era paper money.
