Great Value, Lovely non-US Silver Dollars!

By  ExHack

from Las Vegas, NV

I bought 5 of these for a little variety and their relatively low premium for an OOP sovereign coin. These are lovely coins. I got 4 of the most common 1965s, and one surprise - a 1964 with the commemorative Charlottetown (Quebec) Confederation Meetings reverse design, and the earliest Gillick QEII bust portrait on the observe. Not rare, but pretty darned cool. All 5 are perfectly lustrous (one had a black ick speck we know is common to silver coin) and either BU or close, with the classic high-polish flats of Canadian coin (the Gillick 1964's bust was matte and proof-like on the high-polish flats). You won't go wrong with these, especially with that nice and easy 80%, 0.60-ounce silver content.

Beautiful Canadian Silver Dollars!

By  Ingrid

from Midland, MI

Recently purchased several of these coins and all were in uncirculated or close to it. I am a small investor and buy empty tubes and they give me an incentive to fill them, have an order ready for 9 more Canadian dollars and then time to move on to another collection. I buy exclusively through Apmex, never ever disappoint me!

Beautiful Silver Dollars!

I have 11 of these canadian silver dollars and intend to order 9 more to complete my collection before moving on. They are gorgeous and I feel a great investment for the small investor! I purchase empty tubes from Apmex and that gives me an incentive to fill them, once completed I move on to something else. I have used Apmex since last November and I am now addicted, never have I been disappointed! Super fast shipping is a plus too!

Great investment piece

By  Brother Lance

from Rochester, NY

I quickly earned my APMEX Platinum status in large part by purchasing a couple of these pieces every couple of weeks. Silver is widely known to be the MOST undervalued metal to invest in at this time. The primary factor is the demand in manufacturing - think about all of the everyday items that require silver intrinsically; cell phones, computers, vehicles, electronics, etc etc. The value of silver is being supressed by the paper market which is 99% fiat. There is something like 1 ounce of silver to basck every 100 'notes'. The Ponzi scheme cannot last forever...this is the perfect piece to invest in if you do not have a lot of spare $$$ like me. Skip a night out, make chicken at home (I'll send you some great bachelor recipes!) and invest that $25 saved on one of these...best of luck (anf fortune) to you - be safe and, especially, be prepared...

Truely Great Toning!

By  Mike

from Jacksonville, NC

I bought this coin since it brings back great childhood memories. I was hoping for one minted in the 50's but 1965 is good and it's in great condition for Almost Uncirculated. Deep Even Toning makes this coin an exceptional beauty. Maybe I'll get one minted in the 50's the next time I order.

Great buy

Bright luster. Excellent eye appeal.

Very Disappointing

By  Numismatist

from San Antonio, TX

I had liked the fact that this purchase represented a reasonable margin for a fractional soverign coin. Unfortunately, the quality of the minting process is very poor due to apparently low strike pressures as these coins lack even reasonable detail. These coins are generally much less attractive than I had imagined.

Better than expected

from IN

I purchased this produce for the design for my private collection interests. Both coins were in AU/BU condition and arrived promptly.

Very very satisfied

By  Silver Addict

from Connecticut

I was so excited after opening the box. The coins I received are definitely AU and some BU. For the low price over spot and the high grade of these coins I will be buying plenty more when they are available again.

Older coin
