Certified National issued by the National City Bank of Evansville, Indiana! This series 1929 Type 2 $10 note was issued by the National Commercial Bank and Trust Company of Albany New York. National Currency was first issued during the Civil War and was backed by government bonds. This bank was originally chartered in March of 1922, and has over 380 small size notes known in Kelly. Although this is considered common in terms of Nationals, this one is valuable as it has been certified by PMG as Choice Uncirculated 63 with Exceptional Paper Quality!
