Tough post Civil War date! The obverse of this Indian Head Cent shows Liberty wearing a feathered head dress, 1869 and "United States of America." The word "Liberty" appears of the band of the head dress. Additonally, there is an "L" for James Longacre, the coin's designer, which was added in 1864. The reverse of this issue shows a wreath of oak and olive and a Federal shield. "One cent" is in the middle of the wreath. This one cent coin is made of bronze and is in Good condition.
