100 Years of the 1921 Morgan Silver Dollar

Published on 12/23/2020 by APMEX

The 1921 Morgan Dollar was the last year for the design, in addition to being the last U.S. coin design of the 19th century to be struck. 1921 Morgan Dollars were minted at all three U.S. Mint locations: Philadelphia, Denver, and San Francisco. The Morgan Dollar flooded the markets from 1878-1904; events in WWI led to the resumption of Morgan Dollar production in 1921. 2021 marks the 100th Anniversary of the 1921 Morgan Dollar.
