2019 America the Beautiful Series Celebrates the Industrial Revolution

Silver ATB Coin - 2019 5 oz Silver Coin - Lowell National Historical Park

The first America the Beautiful Silver Bullion Coin™ of 2019 celebrates Lowell National Historical Park in Massachusetts. This release marks the 46th coin in the series and is now available to pre-order at APMEX.

The America the Beautiful Silver Bullion Coin™ series began in 2010 and is expected to include 56 coins with a face value of a quarter dollar. Each coin features a design of a National Park or National Site from one of the 50 states, five U.S. territories and Washington D.C. Each design will be available of course as a circulating issue, but collectors are more interested in these 5 oz Silver bullion coins, showcasing the exceptional parks and sites in large detail.

The obverse of this beautiful .999 fine Silver coin depicts a female textile worker, one of Lowell’s “mill girls,” tending to a power loom in the weave room of one of Lowell’s cotton mills. Prominently featured is the large circular bobbin battery that kept the loom’s shuttle supplied with yarn. In the background, a view of the iconic Boott Cotton Mill clock tower and smokestack appears through the window. “Lowell” is inscribed across the top, with “Massachusetts,” “2019,” and “E Pluribus Unum” inscribed around the bottom. The reverse features the signature bust of George Washington.

APMEX offers a range purchasing options in addition to the single coin, including MintDirect® tubes. This process, available exclusively at APMEX, ensures each 10-coin tube was sealed in protective plastic immediately after being removed from the mint-sealed boxes, guaranteeing the tubes remain unopened, unsorted and unsearched.
