Charles E. Barber's Liberty Head design, which is now referred to as the "Barber" design, was minted from 1892-1916. Proofs were issued throughout the series in all years although they are quite rare. Most coins normally had a proof mintage between 500 and 900 coins per year. Several years in the Barber Quarter series are rare and hard to find, making complete sets very hard to come by and often vary in price depending on the grades of just a few coins.

APMEX takes pride in being one of the most innovative companies in our industry. In true innovation, we leveraged partnerships with the top coin grading agencies to create CoinGrade+®, providing relevant numismatic information, synced daily with third-party grading services, ensuring you have the most up-to-date information available.
