Love those Hildago's

I prefer these coins to Sovereigns because of the AGW. They are usually in mint state due to re-striking, but still have nearly a quarter ounce of gold per coin. this coupled with a lower premium over spot makes it a no brainer. when in Doubt Hildago it out!! Thanks again

A Nice Coin, But...

By  Hawaiian I

Bought these two coins for their gold content and low premium over spot. The coins arrived as advertised, BU dripping with original mint luster. BUT, further research revealed these 1959 10 pesos to be restrikes. Still nice coins with the same high gold content, just wish that they were advertised as restrikes.

Pros

  • Value (low premium over spot)
  • Easy to Sell
  • Mint Condition

Nice gold fractional coin

By  Long Bob Silver

from Coastal South Carolina

5.0

Fractional coins of US, Can, etc mint have ridiculous markups. If you are looking to own gold in small quantities as a strategy for life after the US Dollar or for other reasons, this is it. Condition: brilliant and uncirculated Markup: minimal The least expensive way for John Q Public to own gold PERIOD.

Pros

  • Value (low premium over spot)
  • Attractive Design

I Like It

By  Eric

from North Yorkshire, Great Britain

5.0

I purchased this coin because of the .2411 gold content. That content equals out to 7.5 grams of gold per coin. The majority of my investment has been in Sovereigns that come in at .2354 or about 7.32 grams of gold per coin. Although the Sovereign is my favorite, I'm thinking of diversifying into these Mexican coins due to the nice, round, easy to add gram weight. Plus, the one I purchased, with a 1959 date, was in great condition.

Pros

  • Value (low premium over spot)
  • Attractive Design

Great Durable Addition

Huge fan of Mexican gold; I will be buying more. Perfect makeup for the "ring" test, and durable enough to show great definition (received a 1959). This coin was in fantastic condition, the whole purchasing process was absolutely perfect thanks APMEX. Look forward to finding more of these in the future.
