This is an extremely rare piece of historical Colonial Americana. These coins were made in England but circulated in New York about 1785. This is not a copy, but an original coin struck in 1785. It has been authenticated and graded by NGC and they consensus graded it as XF-40. This pleasing example is very reasonably priced.
