Product DetailsThis Silver Stater of Corinth was struck by the ancient Greek city-state of Corinth is more than 2,300 years old. The coin features Pegasus, the world-renowned horse from Greek mythology. Many stories and legends are based upon this legendary creature.
The reverse of the Silver Stater shows the image of the goddess Athena, the daughter of Zeus, the father of the gods. Athena is the virginal goddess of wisdom and courage and is also the patron goddess of the city of Athens.
