The discovery of this Chinese 10 Cash coin is just as interesting as the coin itself. Local farmers came across a historical shipwreck of a Chinese junk on the banks of the Yangtze River at an exceptionally low water level.

Almost 900-years old coins of the Emperor Hui Tsung were found on board. The large 10 Cash coins from China with the characteristic square hole were cast and not minted.
