The lion is the second of a series of five coming from the South Africa Mint, a series depicting each of the Big Five animals. I liked the elephant coin a bit more just due to personal preference, but the lion coin is gorgeous. It absolutely does The King of the Jungle justice. Can't wait to get my hands on the rest of the series.

The quality of these coins being produced by the South African Mint is absolutely top-notch! The blister pack is beautiful and educational, the coin itself is one of the most beautifully designed Lion coins I've ever seen and the detail is absolutely incredible. Can't wait until February for the leopard coin!
