Nice $20 Federal Reserve Note from the first year of issue for small size U.S. currency. These numeral notes are popular with collectors. High grade Gem Unc-66 EPQ by PMG.

Currency Highlights:
  • $20 FRN's were issued beginning in early 1928 and were the first small size notes.
  • Note is housed in inert mylar currency sleeve by PMG. Designated by PMG as having Exceptional Paper Quality (EPQ).

This note was one of the last Federal Reserve Notes to have the Gold clause in their redemption wording which states, "Redeemable in Gold on Demand at the United States Treasury, or in Gold or Lawful Money at any Federal Reserve Bank."
