The long duration of that honor is expressed by the monument of marble.
This Continental Note is from the issue of September 26, 1778. The denomination is 30 Spanish Milled Dollars, and was printed by Hall and Sellers of Philadelphia. That firm was formerly known as Benjamin Franklin and Hall.
Note Highlights:
- Paper contains mica flakes which were mixed into the paper to deter counterfeiting, which is visible on this note.
