Series 1934 $500 Federal Reserve Note graded by PCGS Banknote to be VF-20. This note would make an excellent addition to your collection.

This series 1934 $500 FRN from the Chicago district has desirablity for having the Light Green Seal and a low three digit serial number (G00000397A). This note is looks like it was someones wallet trophy due to the overall staining, but it still has been certified Very Fine 20 by PCGS. A must have for the collector of low serial numbers! Friedberg#2201-G.

Currency Highlights:
  • Next to the highest denomination used in general circulation.
  • Housed in an inert Mylar currency holder by PCGS Banknote.
  • Nicely circulated $500 note from Series 1934.
  • Certified Very Fine 20 by PCGS.
  • Last printed in 1945 and features a portrait of President William McKinley.
  • Julian/Morgenthau signatures—Friedberg #2201-G.

Add this great collector’s note to your order today!

These high denomination notes were last printed in 1945, and the government stopped issuing them in 1969. Due to the limited numbers printed, these notes have become popular with currency collectors over the years.
