Better than Very Fine $500 Federal Reserve Note!
The $500 bill was first released in 1869, and again in 1928 and 1934. The obverse of this 1934-A series bill features President William McKinley, and the words “Five Hundred Dollars” are printed on the reverse.
This particular Federal Reserve Note is from the Kansas City district, which is a more elusive district to find with an original printing of just 55,200. This note is a solid Very Fine plus example with nice crispness and no distractions. Comes to its new owner housed in a Capital plastics deluxe currency holder.
