Product Details
This Series 1935-A $1 Silver Certificate was printed on special paper as part of a trial to compare how this paper would hold up in circulation compared with the regular paper being used. This scarce note is in VF-25 condition from PMG.

Currency Highlights:
  • This denomination and type was used widely in circulation until the 1960s.
  • Graded by PMG as Very Fine-25 and housed in an inert currency holder.
  • Face: Portrait of George Washington with "Silver Certificate" above and "One Dollar" below. Red "R" to the right of the Treasury Seal.
  • Back: Familiar design of a $1 bill featuring the Great Seal of the United States.
  • Signatures of Julian/Morgenthau—Friedberg #1609.

Protect your currency by adding a protective currency holder to your order.

With an original printing of 1,184,000 notes, these Silver Certificates are not that easy to find. Add this great collectors item to your cart today!
