10-Coin MintDirect® Premier + PCGS FirstStrike® Tube
APMEX has partnered with PCGS to add the recognition of the PCGS FirstStrike® designation to the popular MintDirect® Premier process. After reviewing the MintDirect® process, PCGS accepts these 2022 MintDirect® Premier Gold Maples as meeting their strict requirements for FirstStrike® eligibility, if the coins are submitted for grading in their original sealed packaging.

For the MintDirect® process, APMEX uses a machine for the sealing process to guarantee the Gold Maple Leaf coins you receive are completely sealed directly after removal from the mint boxes. Mint tubes are placed on a conveyor belt leading into the machine where the tube is sealed on both ends with tamper-evident packaging. After completion, the tube is removed from the machine and the quality of the packaging is checked to ensure it meets our exacting standards. Once this process is completed, you now have a tube of MintDirect® Premier + PCGS FirstStrike® 2022 1 oz Gold Maple Leaf coins.

Originally introduced into production in 2015 with the mint’s Bullion DNA program, each coin is also etched within the Maple Leaf security mark with two digits indicating the coin's production year. Each micro-engraving is encoded, scanned, and recorded at the mint for future authentication, giving each coin their unique Bullion DNA.
