  • AR Basilicon from the reign of co-emperors Andronicus II and Michael IX (1294- 1320 AD), (20 mm around 2.2 g). Byzantine Silver coinage is more scarce than the Bronze or Gold.
  • This coin is an imitation of the Silver grosso of Venice.
