Continuing the tradition throughout the mint's history of depicting Liberty with various allegorical figures, this design, created by Beth Zaiken and sculpted by Craig Campbell, explores a new take on the figure of Liberty, representing the passion and determination with which the American people have fought for and embraced freedom throughout history.
These Silver Liberty medals were struck on a 1 oz .999 fine Silver planchet, and feature the popular American mustang depiction of Liberty introduced on the 2021 Gold High Relief coin.
