From 1872 until 1887 the coins were minted at the Dresden Mint. From 1887, after the closure of the Dresden Mint, the coins were struck at the Muldenhütten Mint. The coins continued to bear the 'E' mint mark.
These Gold 20 Mark coins from Saxony-Albertine featuring King Albert were struck in 1874, 1876 and again in 1894 and 1895. The years 1877 and 1878 are very rarely encountered and sell at a much higher premium.
