Chinese Silver Lunar Coins
The Lunar series features several different designs, sizes and shapes every year to celebrate the New Year. Along with the traditional round coin, this series has flower and fan shaped coins. This series includes gold, silver and platinum coins which are legal tender of the People's Republic of China. These commemorative coins all have a limited mintage and celebrate this year's lunar snake, which is the Wood Snake. The Chinese New Year begins on January 29, 2025 and ends on February 16, 2026.
This is the only the second time a platinum coin has been offered in this lunar series. This colorful Chinese lunar coin for 2025 celebrates the Year of the Snake with a mintage of only 10,000 pieces.
