Jules Verne
Jules Verne was a French author best known for his pioneering works in science fiction and adventure literature. His novels explored futuristic technology and daring voyages, making him one of the most influential writers of all time.

Art of the Pen
In 2021, Monnaie de Paris inaugurated a series focused on literary styles and authors who have marked literature history in France and abroad. Each year, a different literary style is highlighted, including poetry, novels, philosophical essays and theatre. Authors who have left their mark on that year's literary style are celebrated. A common reverse to this series is developed. After celebrating poetry in 2021 and threatre in 2022, Monnaie de Paris will honor more authors in 2024.

Monnaie de Paris
Founded in 1864, not only is Monnaie de Paris France's longest standing institution, but it is also the oldest enterprise in the world. Today, the mint strikes circulation coins for France, as well as beautiful gold and silver commemorative coin programs that are each intricately designed works of art. The mint is also home to a museum that hosts exhibitions, tours and workshops as well as the Guy Savoy Restaurant.
