Perth Silver Dragon
This Silver coin from The Perth Mint's Chinese Myths and Legends series for 2025 features a dragon clasping a pearl. In Chinese culture, dragons are traditionally regarded as the embodiment of the Emperor. The Chinese dragon is admired as a kind and noble potent symbol of abundance and good fortune. The creature is serpentine shaped with the scales of a fish and eagle-like talons. Since ancient times, the dragons has been portrayed with a pearl- a sought after treasure associated with energy, opportunity and immortality.
