Issued at Richmond, VA on March 13, 1862. Great portrait of Virginia State Auditor Jonathan Bennett at center, and the Virginia State Seal on the right. Issued during the early days of the Civil War. Nice green printing on obverse. Blank reverse. Engraved by Keating & Ball of Richmond. A well preserved Choice Crisp Almost Uncirculated example. This is Criswell's #-13.
