This Fifth Issue 25 Cent Fractional Currency note bears a portrait of Robert J. Walker, Secretary of the Treasury during the Polk administration. It also features a Red seal, with a short, thick key in the Treasury Seal.

Certificate Highlights:
  • Housed in an archival quality currency sleeve.
  • This note is well worn, and in Fine condition.
  • Face: Bears a portrait of Robert Walker, Secretary of the Treasury (1845-1849) at left.
  • Back: Green printing of the obligation at right with a scalloped “25 CENTS”, and an intricate border with different varieties of the value “25” at the corners.
