- Product Details
In 1773, British King George III authorized that copper halfpennies should be struck for the colony of Virginia. The design has a bust of George on the obverse and a seal with the Royal Crown atop it and the word "VIRGINIA" around it. This circulated example still shows some details. A nice addition to a Colonial collection!
