Outstanding Value

What a great value on Civil War era Indian head pennies. I have ordered several and am just missing an 1861 to complete the 1859-1864 time frame of these very first Indian head small cents. I just ordered four more. Every one I have ordered, I have been happy with.

  • Value (low premium over spot)
  • Attractive Design
  • Collectible (lower mintage)
  • Cons

Pretty Good

Was this review helpful? Yes/ No

I was hoping for anything but an 1863, but noted to myself that since there was only 1 left, I'd get a '63. That was the case. I am happy with the coin itself, would grade it an F 12, and I wanted one from the 60's so it was ultimately worth it.

  • Pros
  • Attractive Design
  • Easy to Sell
  • Recognized Brand
  • Bottom Line
  • Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

I was happy

Was this review helpful? Yes/ No

I ordered three coins and received three different dates including two from the Civil War period (1859, 1863, & 1864). Two of the coins were in what I would consider to be spectacular condition. The other was quite terrible but you could still see the date and most of the design...it probably saw some pretty ruff times I imagine. Still though, I was over all satisfied with my order and feel I got what I paid for.

  • Pros
  • Attractive Design
  • Collectible (lower mintage)
  • Bottom Line
  • Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
