Pleased with purchase

Was this review helpful? Yes/ No

Packaging was excellent: discrete, protective, and arrived quickly via USPS. I was pleased to receive a variety of years. One had tarnish, others had minor flaws like small scratches, but on the whole remained beautiful. I was happy to find cull SAE (silver American eagles) for sale. SAE are affordable, legal tender, and, if all else fails, hold melt value. I do not have to worry about numismatic value if milk spots develop, or if I a make a mistake while handling. Will buy again.

  • Attractive Design
  • Recognized Brand

  • Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

Consistent quality and value

Was this review helpful? Yes/ No

I've now purchased 40 Ag Eagles from the "cull and damaged" option and couldn't be happier. Consistent quality, with a nice mix of years. One order had 20 2013 Eagles that I failed to find fault with in any regard. At the risk of eroding APMEX's incentive to offer this bargain, I don't see how a buyer can go wrong. Judging from the other reviews, I'm in good company.

Almost BU condition

Was this review helpful? Yes/ No

The coins were much better condition than "cull, damaged, etc..." They were nearly perfect just very tiny blemishes you had to look extra close to find anything wrong with them.

  • Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

Worth the lower Premium for the Condition.

Was this review helpful? Yes/ No

As with any other items listed as Cull and Damaged, the price on these is significantly lower than AU/BU ones. As far as the condition, you get exactly what is listed and random years. Most of mine have either toning or spotting, but still contain one full ounce of .999 silver. The nice thing is that every once in while you do get some earlier years. I've had several 1987s, which are listed on here for much much more. Solid choice for getting Silver Eagles at a very low premium.
